After two months of practices, rain, doubleheaders, a brand new scoreboard, new signs and logos and some tremendous baseball we have finally arrived at Super Saturday! This year's Super Saturday celebration includes games and competitions at all levels involving representatives of every team in our league.
Super Saturday is the culmination of our year and it truly represents the very best of our community. For those of you who have not been to a Super Saturday, it's basically a championship day of baseball surrounded by a giant block party. Here's the schedule of events:
9 am - Farm League Game on Field 3 - Braves at Red Sox
Coach Pitch Championship – Marlins at Blue Jays – Field 1
9:15 – Introductions and National Anthem
9:30 – First Pitch
10:30 – Farm League Game on Field 3 – Cardinals at Astros
11 am – Coach Pitch Skills Competition on Field 2
12 noon – Farm League Game on Field 3 – Orioles at Angels
Minors Championship – Tigers at D-Backs – Field 1
12 noon – Introductions and National Anthem
12:15 – First Pitch
1:30 – Farm League Game on Field 3 – Rays at Mariners
2:00 – Minors Skills Competition on Field 2
2:45 pm – Majors Home Run Derby on Field 1
4 pm – BREAK FOR MASS
Majors Championship – Brewers at Cubs – Field 1
5:45 – Introductions and National Anthem
6 pm – First Pitch
Postgame – Presentation of the Danny Williams Most Outstanding Player Award and Father Field Award
